Microsoft launches pre-order for Gears of War: E-Day Limited Edition XBOX Wireless Controller

The limited edition celebrates the launch of the new Gears of War title, scheduled to release on September 30. The controller allows fans to immerse themselves in one of gaming's most iconic universes ahead of the game's official release.

While full design details and contents are not yet fully revealed, players will be able to customize their own version of the controller starting September 30. The official Xbox site notes that this is just the beginning: after this date, players can also design their own Gears of War-themed controllers.
