M80 withdraw from DraculaN Season 7
M80 have officially withdrawn from DraculaN Season 7. This decision means the team will not be able to defend their title after winning Season 6.
The DraculaN website confirmed that M80 is no longer part of the upcoming Romanian LAN event, which features a $35,000 prize pool. The team was among the first to sign up for what is shaping up to be the largest event in the series' history.
While the specific reasons for the withdrawal remain unconfirmed, the move appears to be a strategic decision regarding Major qualification. Based on projections from Finn "Mischief" Farrer, M80 holds a 99.68% chance of qualifying for the PGL Singapore Major. This suggests the team may prefer to protect their VRS points rather than risk them in a highly competitive field.
DraculaN Season 7 features a stacked lineup, including FaZe, HEROIC, Luminosity, MOUZ NXT, and Eternal Fire. The tournament is scheduled to begin on October 19.
