Luma Island is coming to PS5
Feel Free Games has officially confirmed that Luma Island is coming to PlayStation 5. Following its PC launch in November 2024, which has already drawn over 800,000 players, the title is expanding to consoles with a focus on seamless cross-platform connectivity.
The upcoming PlayStation release will feature full cross-platform play, allowing users on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC to play together. This ensures that friends can continue building, sharing resources, and exploring the island regardless of their chosen platform.
Luma Island offers a blend of farming, building, and adventure. Players start with a modest caravan and a rundown farm, which they can develop through various professions, crop cultivation, and animal husbandry. A key part of the experience involves hatching Lumas—magical companions that accompany players on their journey. Beyond the farm, the world features diverse environments such as jungles, mountains, and ancient temples filled with puzzles and traps, as well as a Pirate Cove with themed minigames.
To accommodate different playstyles, the game includes three distinct difficulty modes: Cozy, Adventure, and Hero. In Cozy mode, combat is optional, allowing for a more relaxed experience. The game also removes traditional friction points like stamina bars and inventory limits, giving players total freedom to switch between peaceful activities like fishing and intense exploration at their own pace.
The game supports both solo play and online co-op for up to 4 players. Luma Island is available to wishlist on the PlayStation Store starting today.
