Lenovo ThinkVision P27UL-40: 4K120 OLED Monitor

The new model shares a similar design and panel technology with the MSI PRO MAX 271UPJW12, which was revealed earlier this year. Both monitors utilize OLED panels produced via inkjet printing, a method that Hardwareluxx suggests likely originates from TCL-CSOT. The ThinkVision P27UL-40 measures 27 inches diagonally and delivers a 3,840 x 2,160 pixel resolution at a maximum refresh rate of 120 Hz. With a pixel density of at least 163 ppi and an RGB subpixel layout, the panel is designed to provide sharp text rendering without color fringing.

According to the datasheet, the monitor achieves a contrast ratio of 1,500,000:1 and a brightness of 300 cd/m² at 100% APL in SDR mode. It carries the DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification. Color coverage includes 99% DCI-P3, 100% Rec. 709, and 100% sRGB. Remote management is supported through the Lenovo Display Fleet Manager software.

Connectivity options include HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4 (input and output), RJ-45, Thunderbolt 4 (input and output), USB-A, USB-B, and USB-C. The output ports likely support daisy-chaining, allowing multiple screens to be connected in series with fewer cables. While Lenovo does not explicitly advertise a KVM switch or specify the Thunderbolt/USB-C power delivery wattage, Hardwareluxx strongly assumes that KVM functionality and 100 to 140 W PD charging are included.

Ergonomic features include tilt adjustment, swivel, pivot mode, 155 mm height adjustment, and a 100 x 100 mm VESA mount. The ThinkVision P27UL-40 is priced at €1,099 (MSRP) and is expected to become available in initial markets starting February 2027.
