KT Rolster's Score: 'This is the most important loser bracket game of the year'
KT Rolster head coach Go Dong-bin ("Score") acknowledged the difficulty of their 0-3 loss to Gen.G in the LCK Playoffs Round 2, but expressed confidence in their upcoming lower bracket match.
Following the defeat at the LCK Arena in Jongno-gu, KT will face the winner of the Round 1 lower bracket series between BNK FearX and Dplus KIA. A single loss in this stage will end their season.
"Gen.G is a strong team, but I believed we could win if we executed our preparation correctly," Go stated. "Losing 0-3 was disappointing, but I think we could have fought more sharply if we had been more precise."
Addressing the loss of two Elder Dragons in the first game, where KT used a Kalista and Pantheon composition, Go noted: "We were in a favorable position for the engage, but a calculation error prevented us from securing them."
"This is arguably the most important match of the year," Go concluded. "We will prepare carefully during the remaining time to secure a victory."
