Karmine Corp crowned VCT 2026: EMEA Stage 2 champions
Karmine Corp secured the VCT 2026: EMEA Stage 2 title by defeating Team Liquid 3-1 in the grand final.
The match unfolded across four maps, with Karmine Corp taking an early lead on Sunset (13-7) and Ascent (13-6). Team Liquid managed to claim a single map victory on Lotus (13-7), but the French squad closed out the series decisively with a dominant performance on Summit (13-10).
The standout performer for the champions was Dastan "dos9" Zhumagali, who recorded 231 ACS, 70 kills, and 46 deaths. His individual ACS rating was 24% higher than his average over the previous six months.
The tournament concluded on August 30 at the Olimpic Arena in Badalona, Spain. The prize pool distribution awarded $100,000 to Karmine Corp as winners and $65,000 to Team Liquid as runners-up.
The full VCT 2026: EMEA Stage 2 featured 17 teams competing for a total of $250,000, running from July 15 to August 30.
