Japanese Ramen Simulator release date set for September 2026

Developer Wild Dog has announced that Japanese Ramen Simulator is scheduled to launch on September 28, 2026, at 9:00 AM JST.

In Japanese Ramen Simulator, players will take charge of running their own ramen shop. The game features online cooperative play for up to 6 players, where participants can divide tasks such as ingredient preparation, cooking, serving, customer service, and cleaning. Solo players can also manage the establishment by hiring part-time staff.

A standout feature of the game is its physics-based plating system. The way ingredients are arranged in the bowl will affect the final look of each serving, allowing players to experiment with different presentations or attempt to recreate specific recipes. Beyond ramen, the menu includes side dishes like gyoza, which requires careful frying, and beer, which needs to be poured with the right amount of foam. Players can also use prepared toppings to create dishes like chashu-don.

The gameplay experience is further enhanced by various random events. Players may have to deal with demanding food critics, thieves attempting to steal from the register, or sudden fires. Additionally, there is a mechanic for earning extra funds through gambling.

Currently, Wild Dog is recruiting participants for the final closed beta test. Applications are being accepted until 12:00 PM on September 18.
