Intel suspends bug bounty program with $100,000 rewards
Intel has decided to suspend its Bug Bounty program, which allowed cybersecurity researchers to earn monetary rewards for discovering vulnerabilities. As reported by Tom's Hardware, the previous system offered payouts of up to $100,000 per critical flaw.
In place of the former model, Intel is transitioning to a new interaction format through the Intigriti platform. However, current disclosures indicate that the new vulnerability disclosure program does not include monetary rewards. This shift means researchers will no longer be able to rely on the financial incentives that previously motivated the discovery of serious security breaches in the company's products.
