HEROIC defeat 100 Thieves to claim Stake Pulse Beat II title
HEROIC have emerged as the champions of Stake Pulse Beat II after defeating 100 Thieves in the grand final. After trailing in the series, the Swedish side completed a reverse sweep to secure the title with a 2-1 victory.
The grand final in Stockholm began with 100 Thieves asserting their dominance on their map pick, Dust2. The North American squad secured a 13-8 victory, capitalizing on strong T-side performances. Håvard "rain" Nygaard stood out for 100 Thieves, recording the best rating of the map at 1.53.
The momentum shifted on Ancient during the second map. 100 Thieves held two map points with a 12-10 lead, but HEROIC managed to force overtime. In a grueling battle, the Swedes eventually edged out a 19-17 win to force a decider.
The final map, Inferno, turned into a one-sided affair. HEROIC took control from the opening rounds, conceding only a single round in the first half. Their 13-4 victory on Inferno completed the series comeback. Antonio "MartinezSa" Martinez was named the match MVP, finishing with 53 kills and 45 deaths.
With this win, HEROIC take home the $20,000 top prize from the $60,000 total pool. 100 Thieves finish as runners-up, earning $8,000. According to HLTV, the loss leaves 100 Thieves currently outside the qualification spots for PGL Singapore as they look toward upcoming opportunities like FiRe Last Chance 2026.
