For Managed Democracy and the Emperor! Helldivers 2 x Warhammer 40,000 Crossover Announced

Arrowhead Game Studios and Sony Interactive Entertainment have unveiled the new Legendary Warbond, “Castellan's Creed,” inspired by Cadia's elite troops.

The Galactic War for the freedom and security of Super Earth is reaching a fundamentally new level of pomp and firepower. The developers of the cooperative action game Helldivers 2 have announced a major collaboration with the iconic Warhammer 40,000 universe.

The new Legendary Warbond is titled Castellan’s Creed and has been available on all platforms since August 12.

Cadia Stands, and Super Earth Advances

The update is inspired by the Cadian Kasrkin — elite shock troops of the Astra Militarum, renowned for their iron discipline and readiness to face any horrors of the Warp. Their recognizable armor, weapons, and military aesthetic have been carefully adapted to Helldivers 2’s visual style.

The developers stress that this is a full Legendary Warbond, comparable in scale to the previous Halo: ODST and Killzone collaborations. It costs 1,500 Super Credits, while the content itself is unlocked in stages using Medals.

The Castellan's Creed Arsenal: Bolters, Meltas, and Marksman Lasguns

The new Warbond expands the armory of Super Earth with several weapons styled after Warhammer 40,000 technology.

• R/40-K Hot-Shot Marksman Rifle — a long-range precision rifle whose materials, according to its in-universe description, come from the lost world of Chara.

• P/40-K Bolt Pistol — a powerful secondary weapon whose “blessed rounds” literally rip enemies apart from within. Just as spectacular and brutal as a true bolter should be.

• G/40-K Meltamine — a heat mine that automatically homes in on approaching targets. The description contains a special warning: the mine does not distinguish enemies from allies.

• 40-K Meltagun — a devastating close-range weapon that fires a sustained thermal beam. It is designed to destroy armored targets and requires the wielder to engage at an extremely dangerous distance.

Armor and the True Grit Passive

The Warbond includes two armor sets:

1. TG-122 Demo-Trooper — heavy armor designed for specialists in demolitions and blowing up enemy positions;
2. TG-8 Sharpshooter — medium armor for accurate fire at long range.

Both sets use the True Grit passive. It improves weapon handling by 20% and increases reload speed for support weapons by 30%. This passive is especially effective for heavy builds and prolonged firefights.

Camouflage and Cosmetics

In addition to weapons and armor, Castellan's Creed includes an extensive collection of cosmetic items:

• Castellan’s Green — a green-and-brown camouflage pattern for the Pelican, Hellpod, Exosuits, and Fast Recon Vehicle;
• Camo Cloak and City Fighter’s Resolve — player banners and capes;
• the Still Standing player title.

The Legendary Warbond “Castellan's Creed” is now available in Helldivers 2 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The fight for Managed Democracy continues — now with the blessing of the Emperor.
