MSI 2026 Champion Hanwha Life Eliminated
MSI 2026 champion Hanwha Life Esports has been knocked out of the tournament following a 0-2 defeat to Bilibili Gaming in the Swiss Stage.
Hanwha Life Esports, the reigning MSI 2026 champions, have been eliminated from the tournament. The team exited during the Swiss Stage after suffering a decisive 0-2 loss to Bilibili Gaming.
In a rematch of the MSI 2026 Finals, Bilibili Gaming dominated Hanwha Life Esports to secure their spot in the Quarterfinals, leaving their opponents with no path forward.
Hanwha Life struggled early on, losing momentum in both the bot and top lanes. While they managed to stabilize by securing 'Viper's Yunara and taking Void Grubs, BLG maintained control through precise target selection. By forcing out the Flash on Syndra, BLG's Pantheon and Olaf were able to successfully dive and eliminate 'Zeus' on K'Sante.

A dive attempt by 'Kanavi's Skarner on Locke failed to yield results for Hanwha Life. Lulu and Olaf arrived just in time to protect Locke, turning the fight to eliminate Skarner and K'Sante instead. By the 20-minute mark, BLG held a 4,000-gold lead, controlled the outer turrets, and had secured three Dragons.

Hanwha Life attempted to stall for scaling, avoiding a direct confrontation for the Dragon stacks. However, BLG's momentum proved unstoppable. During the fight for the next Dragon, Hanwha Life failed to prevent BLG from securing the Soul and Baron. With the gold gap widening to 10,000, Bilibili Gaming quickly closed out the game to claim the final Quarterfinal seed.
