Hallow’s End: New Neighborhood Mechanics and Rewards

Blizzard Entertainment has unveiled the details for the upcoming Hallow’s End celebration in World of Warcraft. Celebrating the Forsaken's break from the Scourge, the event will run from October 19 to November 2, 2026. This year introduces new neighborhood-based mechanics and unique ways to collect holiday currency through community activities.

The standout feature of this year's event is the introduction of themed neighborhoods. At the start of Hallow’s End, each neighborhood will be randomly assigned a theme (such as Drustvar, Duskwood, or Felwood), influencing local decorations, candies, and daily quests provided by Nomi. Players can participate in the "Community Candy Crawl" World Quest in Founder's Point and Razorwind Shores, collecting candy from buckets located outside occupied player plots. A new "Neighborhood Contribution" mechanic has also been added: by cleaning up Discarded Wrappers or hunting ghosts using Ghost Gear, players can fill a community bar to unlock more loot and decorations.

Additional activities include the ability to transform into a spider for 3 minutes to spin webs around the neighborhood, and participating in the Wickerman Piñata candy collection. In the Midnight Zones of Quel’Thalas, new candy buckets will appear, allowing players to earn the "Tricks and Treats of Midnight" achievement.

The Headless Horseman remains a traditional challenge. Players level 10–80 can queue for this encounter via the Dungeon Finder. Daily victories guarantee a piece of the Headless Horseman's Ghoulish Armor set, with a chance to obtain the Headless Horseman's Ghoulish Charger Skyriding mount. Holiday vendors, such as Jolli Maxiboom and Jack, will sell decor for gold or the new Tricky Treats currency. The Patched Harvest Golem transmog set is also returning to the holiday assortment.

To visit Undercity as it once was, players can speak with Zidormi in Tirisfal Glades.
