Gen.G defeats Hanwha Life Esports to secure second LCK title
Gen.G defeated Hanwha Life Esports 3-1 in the LCK finals to secure their second consecutive championship. The match took place on September 13 at the KSPO Dome in Seoul.
After dropping the first map, Gen.G bounced back to take control. In the third game, the team dominated team fights, with Ruler (Park Jae-hyuk) on Zeri securing three kills, while Canyon (Kim Geon-bu) successfully stole an objective at the 20-minute mark. With an 8,000 gold lead and Baron control, Gen.G pushed into the base and finished the game at 26 minutes.

In the deciding fourth map, Hanwha Life Esports initially gained momentum through Zeka (Kim Geon-u) on Rourke. However, Gen.G neutralized Zeka at the 17-minute mark to regain the advantage. Following a dominant performance in the bot-jungle skirmishes, Gen.G pushed into the enemy base at 27 minutes to close out the series and secure the trophy.
