Facing elimination, Hanwha Life Esports attempted a bold comeback strategy, featuring Rook in the mid lane and a surprising fifth-pick Fiora on the top lane. The plan relied on Zeka using Rook to pressure the top and bottom lanes early on to snowball the game. While they initially managed to secure kills in the mid and bot lanes, Gen.G remained composed, minimizing losses through effective play, including Zeus successfully navigating the Fiora matchup.
As the game progressed, Gen.G began to neutralize Hanwha Life Esports' side-lane pressure and secured crucial dragon stacks. The momentum shifted decisively around the 19-minute mark during a sudden teamfight. Gen.G managed to pick off Scarner (played by Canna비) before Rook could arrive, effectively dismantling the opponent's formation. Following this successful engagement, Gen.G secured the Baron buff and began a relentless push.
With the Baron advantage, Gen.G marched down the mid lane. Despite Fiora's attempts to split-push, the loss of Scarner left the team unable to defend effectively, leading to the destruction of both mid and bot inhibitors. After winning the final skirmish in front of the twin towers, Gen.G destroyed the nexus to confirm their seventh LCK championship.
