Gears of War: E-Day: Xbox to host immersive event in Los Angeles
To celebrate the upcoming launch of Gears of War: E-Day, Xbox is bringing the chaos of Emergence Day to the streets of Los Angeles. On September 30, the intersection of Hollywood & Vine will be transformed into an immersive experience for fans of the series.
The event will feature large-scale installations, including a statue of a Corpser and an Emergence Hole, bringing the lore of Kalona to the heart of the city. Attendees will have the unique opportunity to play Gears of War: E-Day in a hands-on demo area before the official Early Access launch begins.
Fans are encouraged to show up in their favorite Gears of War cosplay or merchandise. Those wearing series-themed gear will benefit from a fast-track queue. Additionally, a contest will offer prizes, including a custom Xbox Design Lab controller inspired by the game, designed by illustrator Luke Preece.
The takeover includes various activities such as themed food and beverages, airbrush tattoos, and photo booths to commemorate the launch. Key event details include:

- Age Restriction: Attendees must be 18 years or older due to the game's Mature rating.
