FxRE steps down from Zomblers amid roster instability
Colton "FxRE" Thrasher is the first player to exit Zomblers following the organization's decision to allow players to seek individual offers.
Colton "FxRE" Thrasher has announced his departure from Zomblers. He is the first player to leave the squad since the organization announced it would be evaluating the players' futures and seeking individual offers in Counter-Strike 2.
The restructuring follows the departure of Owen "man37" Seolas on September 7th. At that time, Zomblers admitted they were struggling to find a replacement and noted that the team's performance had not been clicking lately. The current active roster consists of Connor "CoolComs" Barnes, Andrew "CAJUN" Guidroz, Nikolaos "Pose1doNN" Antoniou, and coach Gabriel "Nightlie" Yamauchi.
FxRE joined the team in late March alongside Ben "HAMBOOGA" Wetrich, spending just under six months with the organization. During his tenure, the team's peak result was a third-place finish in the ESL Challenger League Season 51 Cup. Individually, FxRE maintained a 1.01 rating over 60 maps.
FxRE will remain with the team to fulfill its remaining commitments, including the ESEA Advanced Season 58 and CROSSFIRE Season 6 playoffs, provided no further roster changes occur before these events conclude.
