FISSURE CEO claims half of CS2 and Dota 2 debts have been repaid
FISSURE CEO Nikolay Vesnin has released an official statement addressing the organization's financial issues. He confirmed that FISSURE still owes prize money from its CS2 and Dota 2 tournaments but has successfully repaid approximately half of the total debt.
In the open letter published on the FISSURE website, Vesnin acknowledged the outstanding debts and stated that the organization is currently in contact with the affected teams to settle the payments. The CEO noted that the company has managed to cover about 50% of the money owed to participants.
FISSURE intends to maintain its tournament schedule to facilitate the repayment process. According to Vesnin, continuing operations is essential to generate the revenue needed to meet their financial obligations, as halting activities would significantly limit their ability to pay back the remaining debts.
The statement concluded with a focus on the future, with Vesnin expressing his commitment to building a sustainable company and continuing to host tournaments for players and viewers.
