EPID Games officially backs non-official MMO 'Spiki Raising' with server support and PC gift

EPID Games, the developer behind Trickal: Mochimochi Hoppo Daisakusen, has officially adopted a fan-made MMO titled Spiki Raising. The studio donated a computer described as "stolen from Monatium" to the project, marking its transition into an official title.

The browser-based RPG launched on August 6, 2026, and became popular for its unique visuals and the internet meme character "Spiki". Originally a non-official creation, the game now features full mobile support starting at 16:00 JST on August 21. Players can hunt enemies, farm pumpkins, and engage in time-limited boss battles.

Despite receiving official hardware and server support, the game retains its disclaimer stating that all copyright belongs to EPID Games. This unique arrangement allows fans to enjoy a community-driven project while maintaining the original studio's ownership.
