Dune: Awakening 1.4.10.1: What to Check After the Hotfix

1. Restart Steam and Check the Client

Hotfix 1.4.10.1 requires a client-side download. If it does not appear automatically, restart your Steam client before a long farming run or cargo move.

2. Retest Areas With PSO Stutters

The main technical change is further work to reduce PSO stutters. After updating, visit the routes where stutters were most common and check whether movement is steadier.

• Do not change graphics settings immediately if you want a clean comparison.
• Test a familiar route first, then heavier zones.
• If stutters remain, note the location and repeatability before reporting.

3. Open the Building Menu

The building menu should now show up to 10 building sets without required materials overlapping. Check the sets where the interface previously hid costs or requirements.

Also try clicking the Z, C, and arrow prompts with the mouse. For relaxed base work, that may be more comfortable.

4. Revisit Sample Recovery

If you were losing the route between rock islands in the Sample Recovery Landsraad mission, look for the new footprints in the sand.

5. Retest Cargo Containers Carefully

The hotfix addresses a case where lowering a cargo container through a horizontal pentashield could send it outside the base. Test the scenario with low-value cargo before moving important resources.
