Double Drops coming to PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS this weekend
Fans of PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS can look forward to extra rewards this weekend. Developers have announced Double Drops, allowing viewers to earn twice the usual amount of in-game items by watching PEC and PAS broadcasts.
The event coincides with the final weekend of regional play for this year's esports calendar. Over three match days, the PUBG EMEA Championship and the PUBG Americas Series will crown their regional champions. These matches also serve as the final opportunity for teams to secure PGC Points for qualification to the PUBG Global Championship 2026 in Istanbul this November.
The decision to double the Twitch and Kick drops is intended to compensate for technical issues encountered during earlier stages of the tournament. To unlock the full set of rewards for any given day, viewers must accumulate 120 minutes of watch time on official broadcasts or authorized co-streamers.
The reward schedule is as follows:
- October 2: Battle Hazard Work Boots and RIP YOU (Spray).
- October 3: Fried Chicken (Spray) and Battle Hazard Logo Tee.
- October 4: PUBG Creed Backpack (Level 2), Winner Winner Hat, and the PUBG Varsity Jacket.
Streams will be available on official PUBG channels, as well as through popular co-streamers including POKAMOLODOY, HIBAKO, Droog, Lauraa, and Heawin for PEC, and C_Dome, Corky, ThugFaasT, Tecnosh, and Enoquiano for PAS.
