DLSS 5: New AI Model and Faster Frame Generation Beta in MW4

DLSS 5 Evolution and AI Enhancements

The new AI model for DLSS 5 will debut in NBA 2K27 on October 16th. This enhanced model will also power RTX Spark laptops, which are available for pre-order ahead of their October 16th release. Further support for DLSS 5 is slated for Hogwarts Legacy on November 5th and Where Winds Meet later this year.

Modders using the RTX Remix platform will also see improvements starting October 23rd, as DLSS 5 tools will be integrated to assist in creating path-traced remasters through DLSS Dynamic Multi Frame Generation and Ray Reconstruction.

Call of Duty: MW4 and DLSS 4.5 Support

The campaign early access for Call of Duty: MW4 begins on October 16th for pre-order customers, featuring the DLSS 4.5 suite. Users on GeForce RTX 40 Series can utilize DLSS 4.5 Frame Generation, while GeForce RTX 50 Series users will have access to Dynamic Multi Frame Generation. This latter feature offers up to 6x frame multiplication, providing an optimal balance between image quality and performance for ray-traced reflections.

The full launch of Call of Duty: MW4, including multiplayer and DMZ modes, is scheduled for October 23rd. NVIDIA Reflex will also be available across all RTX systems to minimize latency.

NVIDIA also highlighted several upcoming and current DLSS-enabled titles:

• Crossout Remastered — a DLSS 4.5 update arriving October 22nd;
• Gear.Club Unlimited 3 — available now with DLSS and path tracing;
• Permafrost — available now with DLSS 4.5 and ray tracing;
• Pax Autocratica — available now with DLSS 4.5;
• ARC Raiders — the Frozen Trail update with DLSS is available now.
