Dell U3226QER: A Silver-Chassis Amazon Exclusive That Costs More Than U3225QE
Dell has refreshed its Thunderbolt Hub monitor lineup with the U3226QER. However, the update appears to be more about retail exclusivity than technical advancement, as the model is sold only through Amazon and carries a significant price premium over the U3225QE.
The U3226QER appeared in Amazon's listings in late October 2026. Upon closer inspection, the device is technically identical to the U3225QE released in early 2025. The only notable difference is the aesthetic: while the U3225QE features a black display bezel, the U3226QER sports a full silver chassis, including the stand.
Specifications and Pricing Disparity
Under the hood, both 31.5-inch monitors share the same specs: an IPS-Black panel with 4K resolution (3840 × 2160), a 120 Hz refresh rate, and a 3,000:1 contrast ratio. They offer 10-bit color depth, 99% DCI-P3 coverage, and a wide array of connectivity, including Thunderbolt 4, DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.1 (for 4K@120 Hz), three USB-C ports, five USB-A ports, and a 2.5 GbE Ethernet port. Productivity features like KVM, PiP, and PbP are also included.

The exclusivity comes at a cost. Currently, the U3226QER is listed on Amazon for approximately €979. In contrast, the standard U3225QE can be found at other retailers for around €750. This makes the silver-themed exclusive roughly €200 more expensive than its black counterpart.
