Century Unveils USB4 10GbE LAN Adapter for Thunderbolt and USB4
The device features an aluminum chassis and includes LED indicators on the LAN port side that display the current link speed via color coding (supporting 10/5/2.5/1 Gbps or 100/10 Mbps). Physically, the adapter measures 107×62×22 mm and weighs 185 g without cables. The package includes a Type-C to Type-C USB cable (approx. 50 cm long), a user manual, and a warranty card.
Century specifies support for multi-gigabit Ethernet speeds: 10 Gbps, 5 Gbps, 2.5 Gbps, 1 Gbps, as well as legacy 100 Mbps and 10 Mbps modes. This ensures the adapter will function correctly not only with the latest high-speed network cards but also with older equipment.

According to official specifications, the device is designed for computers equipped with Thunderbolt 4 or USB4 ports. Compatibility has been confirmed for Macs running macOS 13 (Ventura) and later, as well as PCs running Windows 11. The manufacturer did not list specific laptop models or motherboards in the announcement, but adherence to the interface standards is the primary requirement.
The retail price for the adapter is ¥33,000. At the time of publication, availability was noted via a link to Amazon. Century previously released similar adapters supporting 5 Gbps, but this new product targets users requiring maximum throughput for data transfer or high-speed network storage access.
