Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Warzone Season 06 launches The Haunting September 17
Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Call of Duty: Warzone are set to launch Season 06 with a supernatural twist on September 17, bringing the return of The Haunting. This update introduces new maps, modes, weapons, and events across both titles, immersing players in eerie landscapes and undead challenges. The event features a forbidden summoning, zombie horde battles, and exclusive rewards, including themed bundles and operator skins.
The Black Ops 7 Endgame introduces Avalon Night, a forbidden summoning event where players must unlock seals to free a creature in an eerie landscape. In multiplayer, new maps include Quantum, set in a frozen Arctic facility, and Bloodstead, a rethemed Homestead where water has turned to blood. New Limited Time Modes (LTMs) feature T.E.D.D. Trials, bringing iconic Zombies maps like Roadkill and Inferno into Multiplayer for the first time, and Hordepoint, where players defend objectives against swarming zombies.
Zombies mode sees the launch of a new survival map, Tenshu, set in the Masaki family’s ancestral castle. Players can also try Rex Infernus Directed Mode with extra guidance or explore Rogue Run with new maps like Paradox Junction. Completing all Main Quests unlocks a Super Easter Egg and Pumpkin Zombies, adding festive horrors to the experience.
In Call of Duty: Warzone, Hunted Hollow arrives as a terrifying nighttime variant of Haven’s Hollow, filled with eldritch horrors. Players can ride the Ghost Train through the map or find festive pumpkins offering treats and tricks. A new LTM, Giant Infected, pits 64 players against each other in a Survivors vs. Infected battle, requiring survivors to construct a DNA Bomb to stop the outbreak.
The Season 06 Battle Pass offers new Weapon Blueprints, Operator Skins, and more. Purchasing BlackCell unlocks exclusive rewards like the Revenant Operator and a Mastercraft Weapon Blueprint. The Doom Event Pass brings hellish forces to the game, with themed bundles available in the Store. New weapons include the VMP SMG and TR51 Para Assault Rifle, alongside melee weapons like the Arcblade.
