Bodycam Private Playtest Open Until August 31

The Locked & Loaded Playtest is now live and will run until August 31, 2026 at 02:00 UTC. This is not an open beta; access is limited and granted progressively to a selected number of players throughout the weekend. The purpose of this test is to stress-test the new systems and matchmaking before the free update launches on September 2, 2026.

To request access, visit the Bodycam Steam Store page. If you are selected, Steam will send a notification and an email to your account. The Bodycam Playtest application will then appear directly in your Steam library. There is no code required for invitations, but requesting access does not guarantee entry. Further invitations may be sent during the playtest.

Many content creators have received keys to share with their communities. These keys grant direct access to the playtest, so check with your favourite creators for another opportunity to join.

For this playtest, all weapons, attachments, and customization options are unlocked from the start. The full update introduces an economy and progression system, but we want every tester to be able to freely try every loadout and help us test the new customization features. All progress made during the playtest will be reset before the full update releases.

There is no NDA. Everyone with access is free to stream, record, post clips, videos, screenshots, reactions, and any other content from the playtest. Share your best moments using #Bodycam and #BodycamGame for a chance to be featured in our community compilation.
