BNK Faker to study new picks after LCK Playoffs loss to T1
BNK Pyeonex head coach Park Jun-seok expressed his disappointment after a 2-3 loss to T1 in the first round of the LCK Playoffs, confirming that the team will take a break before focusing on new draft strategies for their next match.
The match took place at the Grand Seoul Lopa Park Arena on August 29. Despite believing they had prepared well and executed their ban picks as expected, BNK Pyeonex fell short in the decisive fifth set against T1. Coach Park Jun-seok noted that while the game was close until the end, the loss left him with mixed feelings about the outcome.
Looking ahead to their next opponent in the Losers Bracket on September 3, the team is prioritizing rest. Park Jun-seok mentioned that three consecutive BO5s have exhausted his players and emphasized the need for a full recovery before returning to practice new picks and analyzing optimal situations for future games.
"I think we need to rest well first," Park stated. "Starting from tomorrow, I believe we should study what works best in pick-ban scenarios with new drafts." The coach remains determined to prepare thoroughly for the upcoming match regardless of who they face next, aiming to secure a victory.
