BBL Esports Allows Players to Explore Offers Ahead of 2027 Season
BBL Esports has officially opened negotiations for its roster ahead of the 2027 season, allowing select players to explore offers from other organizations while maintaining active contracts until the end of the current cycle.
The club's sporting director, Arda Bayram, confirmed that this move is part of the preparation process for the upcoming year. However, he emphasized that no final decisions regarding player departures or specific roster changes have been made yet.
Assistant coach Göktuğ "Viento" Alp Çebi also shared a message indicating his own search for a new team. The organization stated it will continue to evaluate all possible options for both the players and the club itself.
This announcement comes after BBL Esports' last tournament, VCT 2026: EMEA Stage 2, where they exited the playoffs with a 0:2 loss to Fire Flux Esports and failed to qualify for VALORANT Champions 2026. The club's statement does not confirm recent speculation that the team lost partner status for the next VCT cycle.
