ASL Season 22: Quarterfinal Bracket Set with Only Terran and Zerg Left
The quarterfinal matchups and schedule for ASL Season 22 have been finalized. Following the conclusion of the Round of 16, the tournament has seen a complete shutout of the Protoss race. Only Terran and Zerg players remain in the competition, setting the stage for a race-exclusive battle in the next round.
The final eight competitors include Park Sang-hyun (Z), Yoo Young-jin (T), Shin Sang-moon (T), Lee Jae-dong (Z), Lee Jae-ho (T), Kim Min-chul (Z), Lee Young-han (Z), and Kim Jung-woo (Z). This leaves a field of 3 Terran and 5 Zerg players competing for a spot in the next stage.
The bracket was determined via a draw following the Round of 16. The upcoming schedule is as follows:
- September 21: Lee Young-han (Z) vs. Yoo Young-jin (T);
- September 22: Lee Jae-ho (T) vs. Kim Jung-woo (Z);
- September 28: Park Sang-hyun (Z) vs. Lee Jae-dong (Z);
- September 29: Shin Sang-moon (T) vs. Kim Min-chul (Z).
The quarterfinals will follow a single-elimination, best-of-five (Bo5) format. The winners will advance to the semifinals, scheduled for October 5 and 6. All matches are held at the FreakUp Studio in Daechi-dong, Seoul.
