AOC announces the AGP257FT: a 1000Hz gaming monitor
AOC has unveiled the Agon Pro AGP257FT, its fastest gaming monitor to date. This 24.5-inch Full HD display is built for esports, featuring a native 1000Hz refresh rate that can be pushed up to 1050Hz.
Speed through oxide-based Fast IPS
The AGP257FT utilizes an oxide-based Fast IPS panel, which employs a higher-mobility transistor layer to drive pixel transitions faster than conventional IPS designs. This architecture makes a 1000Hz refresh rate technically viable, supporting a minimum 0.3ms G2G response time and 0.1ms MPRT.
While speed is the primary focus, the panel maintains standard visual fidelity features. It carries VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification with 20 local dimming zones, a typical brightness of 450 nits, and color gamut coverage of 99% sRGB and 90% DCI-P3.
Connectivity and Ergonomics
To minimize motion blur during rapid movement, the monitor includes Motion Blur Reduction Plus and is Nvidia G-Sync Compatible. Connectivity options include two HDMI 2.1 ports, DisplayPort 2.1, a headphone jack, and a USB hub featuring three 5Gbps USB-A ports.
The included stand supports 150mm of height adjustment, along with tilt, swivel, and pivot functions. The Agon Pro AGP257FT is scheduled for launch in Q1 2027, with regional European pricing expected to be confirmed closer to the release date.
