AIDA64 beta adds Intel Core Ultra 4000 support for Nova Lake-S

The latest AIDA64 beta (build 8.40.8510) has introduced support for Intel's upcoming Nova Lake-S processors. The software now recognizes these chips as the Intel Core Ultra 5/7/9 4xxx series, directly linking the four-digit naming scheme with the Nova Lake-S architecture.

Nova Lake-S and Core Ultra 4000 Branding

This update provides more specific details than the previous September 29 beta, which only mentioned improved support for Nova Lake CPUs and NVL-S PCH diode temperature monitoring. The October 5 build explicitly adds detection for the Core Ultra 5, Core Ultra 7, and Core Ultra 9 4xxx series.

This change aligns with recent leaks suggesting that desktop Nova Lake-S processors will adopt the four-digit Core Ultra 4000 model numbers across all three families. While this provides a direct reference connecting the architecture to the new naming convention, Intel has yet to formally confirm the Core Ultra 4000 branding. As such, the AIDA64 entry should be viewed as a technical indicator rather than an official product announcement. Specific processor models and core configurations are not yet listed in the software.

Sensor Support for RTX 5090 and PSUs

The beta also expands sensor support for various hardware components. It includes monitoring for ASUS Eurux GR120 and Corsair HXi Shift power supplies. Additionally, GPU sensor support has been added for the ASUS ROG Astral RTX 5090 32G-PF, and sensor support for the Aqua Computer Ampinel has been corrected to filter out invalid current readings.
