007 First Light for Switch 2 delayed to March 2027
The debut of 007 First Light on Nintendo Switch 2 has faced another delay. IO Interactive has moved the release window from summer 2026 to March 2027.
In an official statement, the studio explained that the decision was made to ensure the quality of the experience meets player expectations. The additional time will be dedicated specifically to polishing the game's performance on the Nintendo Switch 2. Despite the setback, IO Interactive expressed satisfaction with the positive feedback received at gamescom, noting that it serves as a sign of the progress being made across the entire title.
007 First Light originally launched on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store) on May 27. While the Switch 2 version was intended to launch alongside these platforms, it has since been pushed back.
Players looking for a hands-on experience can visit the Tokyo Game Show this week, where the same demo shown at gamescom will be playable.
